For both modules, LG warrants an actual power output of no less than 98 per cent for a period of one year from the start of the guarantee, the company says. From the second year, the actual average annual pay for the remaining 24 years will not decrease by more than 0.5 per cent – this way, by the end of the 25th year the actual output for the MonoX Plus and Neon 2 solar modules is guaranteed to be at least 86 per cent.
LG offers according to the company above-average performance and product warranties compared to the industry on the whole, as the modules undergo rigorous testing throughout the production process. They are tested four times as intensively as prescribed by the IEC standard, and therefore meet the strictest quality criteria. LG operates its own solar tests, which are certified by four major inspection bodies, including TÜV Rheinland and Intertek, promises LG.
