With Cloud 2.0 and Cloud to Go, the storage systems provider Senec gives its customers access to solar power from their own roof at charging stations all over Europe – at home as well as on the go. Customers of Senec can charge up their electric car with own electricity at more than 45,000 charging stations. The service can be shared with other people as part of the tariff Family and Friends.
100 percent self-sufficiency means that solar power, which is, for example, produced on a roof in Lower Saxony or Brandenburg, can now be obtained free of charge while on holiday at a charging station, say, in Italy. Also, Senec is already taking into account the upcoming market launch of their Smart Meter. Customers should therefore not have to pay extra for electricity meters and installation.
