The PV Premium photovoltaic tile from Braas turns a protective roof into a useful roof – one that not only generates environmentally friendly solar power, but also convinces in terms of design and appearance. With a covering length of between 335 and 340 millimetres and a covering width of 1,800 millimetres, it replaces six of Braas‘ conventional Tegalit roof tiles. The tile is also available with a covering length between 350 and 355 millimetres and can thus be combined with the Turmalin roof tile from Braas. This results in a linear, harmonious covering pattern.
Each module contains 22 monocrystalline solar cells which, with their black colour, blend in well with the other roof coverings. The Premium PV meets all requirements with regard to fire resistance, rain protection and rear ventilation. With an output of 100 watts and an area requirement of 1.6 square metres per tile, a kilowatt of system output requires 16 square metres of roof area.
